Our short-dated stock initiative

At Spa Ceylon Australia, every product is made with care — and we believe it should be used and enjoyed, not thrown away. As part of our approach to minimising waste, we've introduced a dedicated range of short-dated products offered at reduced prices, so that quality skincare, haircare and wellness items are enjoyed rather than discarded as they approach their best-before date.

Why we've done this

Like all natural skincare and cosmetics, many of our products carry a best-before or expiry date. From time to time, perfectly good, unopened stock approaches that date before it has sold. Rather than dispose of usable product, we choose to make it available to you at a lower price.

It's a simple, practical step: it keeps good product in use and reduces the amount we would otherwise have to throw away. We're not claiming this makes us a "green" brand or solves every environmental challenge — it's one specific, tangible change we've made, and we think it's a worthwhile one for our customers and for reducing waste.

What "short-dated" means for you

Short-dated products are genuine, sealed and safe to use up to the date shown. The only difference from our standard stock is that they are closer to their best-before date. So that you can shop with complete confidence:

  • Every short-dated item clearly displays its expiry / best-before date on its product page.
  • We recommend using the product before that date so you enjoy it at its best.
  • Each item is offered at a reduced price against its original recommended retail price.

If you'd prefer a longer-dated version, our standard product is always available — every short-dated listing links straight to it.

Shopping the range

You'll find our short-dated items in the Short-Dated Clearance collection, each clearly labelled with its best-before date and price. Stock is limited and available while it lasts.

Your rights and returns

Because these items are already reduced and close to their best-before date, our sale items are final sale — no change-of-mind returns, so please check the best-before date and choose carefully before you buy.

This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law: if a product is faulty, unsafe, or not as described, you're still entitled to a remedy — repair, replacement or refund — even on a clearance item. Gift recipients have these same rights.

If you have a problem with a product, please contact us at info@spaceylonaustralia.au with your proof of purchase and we'll make it right. If met the criteria would be happy to offer store credit to use for future orders.
